BIO Tim Bullock {Butterbean} BORN April 3rd ,1963 MARRIED 18.5 YEARS to my angel Sandi 1 Daughter Jen, and 2 Sons Josh and Justin 2 old mutts Scooby and Honey My musical career started in school playing the trumpet, I tried it for several years
and was not really enjoying it. I began listening to Skynyrd, and other
Southern Rock and was hooked. I begged my parents for a guitar.
They bought me a used Gibson S-1 that I wish I still had……. I began practicing and had soon formed a "band" with friend Darryl Newton and others from the Fuquay-Varina area where I grew up. The "Band" combined with playing along with records is how learned to play. I went on to play in bands such as Matrix, Back Roads, and filled in with several bands as needed over the years. I met Vern Dodd my best friend and an awesome lead guitar player who had moved here from Manchester England. We formed a band with some friends called L.O. & The Trackers. The whole band moved in a big house in north Raleigh and it was awesome. Eventually the band broke up and we all went our separate ways except for Vern and I who formed Kabin Fiva Band to concentrate on original music. During this period I switched from playing rhythm guitar to bass. I enjoy playing the bass and learn new techniques every time I play. I have filled in for several bands that needed a bass player, usually on an "emergency, got a show to do, but no bass player" basis. Just such a call from an old friend Woody Wood led me to play one Friday night with a newly forming band of veteran musicians called Triple Threat. I joined the band officially soon after and am having the time of my life playing out with Triple Threat. My influences are Skynyrd, Molly Hatchett, Black Foot, Alman Brothers, Zepplin, Eddie Money, Van Halen and some lesser known bands like April Wine and Triumph. I am looking forward to rocking with Triple Threat and taking 2008 by storm! Thanks for reading! (and thank your mom for being able to read!)
